We've built Instant Journalist to make it easy for people to manage their sites.
Anywhere you see a user's content on your site, just right click to see the options you have for dealing with it:
Delete Content - Removes the content from view on the site. As an administrator, you'll still be able to view the content and undo the delete if necessary
Promote Content - Gives you the ability to feature a story on the home page of your site. Use this to drive people to the best things your site has to offer
Note that these options work for stories, comments, images, videos, and documents.
Instant Journalist also allows you to build community of moderators on your site. Click on the Users link under your admin tab, and click on the username that you want to grant moderation abilities to. Select the "Website Moderator" role at the bottom of the page and click the add button. That user will then be able to take moderation actions on any content on the site.
When you have a team of moderators, it's important to be able to keep track of what they're doing. Under the admin tab, click the Moderation History link and you can see all of the actions that have been taken on content on the site. You can search by user, url, date, or action to find exactly what you're looking for.
